Don’t Be an Airhole (Second Wind) + Dark Manhattan

Houses have to breathe? Don't be an airhole? Phil and Chris revisit the classic topic about the importance of air sealing.

Featured Cocktail: Dark Manhattan (makes 1)

Tip: Making two? Just double everything.

A Manhattan’s shadowy cousin, still classy, just with a little more bite and depth.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz rye whiskey

  • 1 oz Cynar

  • 2 dashes bitters

Instructions

  1. Stir (or shake) with ice until chilled.

  2. Strain and serve up in a coupe or martini glass.

  3. Garnish with a cherry (and yes, Luxardo cherries are the best).
